Support Us

The Stort Valley Branch is run totally by volunteers and we are a separately registered charity & branch of the RSPCA and primarily responsible for raising our own funds locally and all monies go directly to helping animals in the local community

Donations payable to RSPCA Stort Valley Branch can be sent to:

The RSPCA Stort Valley Advice Centre & Clinic, 23 The Stow, Harlow, Essex, CM20 3AN

We need your help to continue our vital animal welfare work locally.

To make a donation please text SBVT15 followed by £2/£5/£10 to 70070.

Texts cost your standard network rate plus the amount you are donating.

Shop Online

Shop online for RSPCA animal charity gifts and trusted animal products.

Our online shop is a great place to buy presents and to stock up with pet products, including our own range of pet food.

Donate Pet Food

Please help us by donating cat and kitten food at our clinic in The Stow or in our collection boxes in Sainsburys in Harlow and Tesco in Church Langley.

We need your donations of clean bric-a-brac, puzzles, games, toys & books to sell in our shop.  Please bring them to our clinic between 10 – 1pm on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday mornings – sorry, we haven’t got the space for furniture.

Make a Will

A legacy to the RSPCA Stort Valley Branch will provide crucial funds. We could not carry out our work without such generous support.
You can do this by making a will or by adding a codicil (a document which specifies alterations to your will).

If you are making a will, please remember that the RSPCA Stort Valley Branch and all the other RSPCA branches are separate registered charities.

So, if you would like the animals in your local area to benefit, we would respectfully suggest that your legacy reads:

I give the sum of £………. (or specify a share of residue) to the RSPCA Stort Valley Branch, Registered Charity Number 233908, 23 The Stow, Harlow, Essex for its general purposes and I declare that the receipt of the Honorary Treasurer or other proper officer of the said RSPCA branch for the time being shall be a full and sufficient discharge for the said legacy.

Please note that a will or codicil needs to be properly witnessed and you should obtain legal advice.

Gifts to registered charities are generally exempt from inheritance and capital gains taxes.

A gift to the RSPCA Stort Valley Branch would therefore greatly benefit the local animals with minimum burden to your estate.

Sponsor a Cat Pen or Dog Kennel

The RSPCA Stort Valley branch re-homes over 150 animals each year, we can only do this with the help of our fosterers who have cat and dog pens in their gardens.
We are a self-funding branch run solely by volunteers and reliant on donations and sponsorship to keep the pens operational.
Your sponsorship would allow us to help an animal in distress and provide them with shelter, food, love and vet care, which would enable them to have a second chance in life.
